Goals toward TeamworkCommon Goal
Everyone needs to have one similar goal that they all want to strive for. This helps with team spirit and everyone can enjoy the project. Clarity Goal If everyone keeps each other updated on what is going on the project should work more smooth. This communication is a key feature in teamwork. If it is not used completing your goal can become a bear and the results everyone is working toward might fall apart. Commitment From Each Team Member If everyone does their part in the project the team can accomplish great things. If there are members of the team that do not do their part the final product might not be what the entire team strives for. Do What You Do Best In every team each individual has his or her strengths and weaknesses. This is where you decide what each member should work on. If the team allows everyone to work on their strengths it will help the team do well. It’s Not About YOU! If their are members in a team that do not care about what the rest of the team wants and just bases their work on what they want it can hurt the team. Each individual must think about what everyone else wants and try to put all these thoughts into play. You’ve Got to Talk to Each Other Communication is one of the most vital parts of a team. If there is no communication the team will fall apart. When there are issues in the team they must be resolved through talking to each other is some form to resolve the problems at hand. Work as a Team, Play as a Team In order for a team to understand each other and work to their full capacity they must understand their team members. They must understand how each individual works in order to do well in the job. This can be accomplished by spending time inside and outside of the job. Everyone Can’t Lead In every project each area can not be run by everyone. There is normally a team captain who looks over everyone to make sure things are being run smoothly. Then each individual works in an area where they can do well. It should be an area that you understand more than any of the others and then everyone comes together to combine every part of the project in order to work toward the teams full capacity. |
